White House Guardianships is an AEGIS accredited guardianship organisation started in 1992 by the Hume family and today continues to be a family business.

Our programmes include:

  • Placement into UK private schools as boarding or day students living with one of our police-checked host families.
  • First class guardianship for students studying in private or state-boarding schools.
  • A state school programme for EU passport holders.
  • Sixth form colleges for Non-EU passport holders.
  • Short stay programmes for groups and individuals from anywhere in the world.
  • The chance to experience British education in private or state schools for between 1-7 weeks.

  • We offer local support to students with a network of over 50 guardians so there is always a White House presence close to every school where our students are living/studying. WHG undertakes checks which provide reports from Police records, Social Services Departments and Child Protection registers on all our staff, host families and taxi drivers. From our Head Office in Bournemouth we monitor students’ welfare, travel and host family arrangements. We have a 24 hour 7 day emergency service, which is always answered by WHG staff from Head Office.

WHG is an accredited member of AEGIS (Association for the Education and Guardianship of International Students). We are a corporate partner of English-UK, Quality English and a recent winner of the 2015 Bournemouth Tourism Awards for services to Education.

We work with agents worldwide and this year are looking after students from over 45 different countries. We have a range or programmes for students looking to study in the UK, from short stay programmes up to full academic years and beyond. Price is sensitive and our programmes reflect this, we offer academic year programmes from as long as £9,000 (EU) and £16,000 (non-EU).
